Tyco International Ltd. Q1 Earnings Climb 10%

(RTTNews) - Tyco International Ltd. (TYC) released a profit for its first quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $178 million, or $0.42 per share. This was higher than $162 million, or $0.38 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.0% to $2.38 billion. This was down from $2.48 billion last year.
