Tyco Completes Exacq Technologies Acquisition

(RTTNews) - Tyco International Ltd. (TYC) said Monday that it has completed the acquisition of Exacq Technologies, a developer of open architecture video management systems for security and surveillance applications, for $150 million in cash.

The deal was originally ananounced last month.

The business is expected to generate annualized revenues of about $75 million in fiscal 2014.

The acquisition complements and expands Tyco's product offering and increases Tyco's presence in the rapidly expanding network video security industry. Exacq will be integrated into the Tyco Security Products business unit, a leading global provider of access control, video, location-based tracking and intrusion solutions.
