TSX Up At Open Tuesday
(RTTNews) - Toronto stocks moved up at open Tuesday amid marginal buying across a variety of sectors, with the S&P/TSX Composite Index adding 38.75 points or 0.28 percent to 13,620.14.
In the oil patch, Suncor Energy (SU.TO) edged up 0.30 percent, while Niko Resources (NKO.TO) shedding over 3 percent.
Among financial stocks, TD Bank (TD.TO) and Scotiabank (BNS.TO) were up around 0.50 percent each.
In the gold space, Royal Gold (RGL.TO) and Agnico-Eagle Mines (AEM.TO) shed around 1 percent each.
Constellation Software (CSU.TO) eased 0.25 percent after announcing that it had purchase of 100 percent of the shares of Netherlands-based Total Specific Solutions through its wholly-owned subsidiary Constellation Software Netherlands B.V.
