TrueBlue Q3 Profit Rises; Misses Estimate

(RTTNews) - TrueBlue Inc. (TBI) reported that its third-quarter net income was $18.95 million, or $0.47 per share, compared to net income of $14.35 million, or $0.36 per share, in the comparable quarter last year.

Revenue for the latest third quarter was $451.17 million, up from $379.47 million in the year-ago period.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.48 per share on revenues of $457.31 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the fourth quarter of 2013, the company estimates GAAP results to be in the range of $0.30 to $0.35 per share and revenue in the range of $430 million to $440 million.

Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $0.33 per share on revenues of $431.33 million for the fourth-quarter.
