TransAtlantic appoints Mats Johansson as new Site Manager in Finland

Mats Johansson starts as TransAtlantic’s (STO:RABTB) new Site Manager in Finland on September 1st, 2013. He succeeds Kari Wuorimaa who after long and faithful service has decided to retire. Mats Johansson comes from Containerships and the position as Nordic Regional Director where he has been responsible for operations and sales in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. He has previously been Marketing Director at Oy Rail Transportation Ltd and Searail Oy, focusing on the Russian market. TransAtlantic’s business area Industrial Shipping’s operations in Finland mainly includes transport of import- and export freight to and from major steel, mining and forestry companies. The Finnish division stands for about a third of Industrial Shipping’s activities. TransAtlantic has offices in Raahe and Helsinki and has the ambition to become the largest shipping and logistics company in the northern Baltic Sea.
