Total System Services Bottom Line Rises 28% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Total System Services (TSS) announced a profit for its second quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $135.42 million, or $0.74 per share. This was higher than $105.96 million, or $0.58 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.72 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 66.7% to $1.15 billion. This was up from $0.69 billion last year.
