Toro Co Q3 Income Advances 5%

(RTTNews) - Toro Co (TTC) released earnings for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $55.82 million, or $1.00 per share. This was higher than $53.32 million, or $0.94 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.99 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.4% to $600.98 million. This was down from $609.62 million last year.
