Thunder Valley Casino Resort Named Title Sponsor of NASCAR Pro Series West Event
Infineon Raceway and Thunder Valley Casino Resort have entered into a multi-year partnership that will make the Sacramento area-based company the title sponsor of the Saturday race at the upcoming NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend, officials from both companies announced.
Thunder Valley Casino Resort will become title sponsor of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West event, which will take place on Saturday, June 19. The event will be called the Thunder Valley Casino Resort 200, and will serve as the main event on Saturday of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 weekend, June 18-20.
"We are pleased to lend our name to the NASCAR Pro Series West Event and be a part of the tradition of racing at Infineon Raceway,” said CJ Graham, general manager at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. "The partnership with Infineon Raceway is a perfect fit because at Thunder Valley Casino Resort we are all about nonstop action and fun.”
In addition to being the title sponsor of the race, Thunder Valley Casino Resort will sponsor the No. 31 entry piloted by 2009 Pro Series West champion Jason Bowles, who will look for this third consecutive victory in the 64-lap race.

"The Saturday West Series race is one of the most competitive and entertaining on our schedule and we’ll be proud to have Thunder Valley as our title sponsor.”
The two-year partnership also includes hospitality, signage and other assets. Thunder Valley Casino Resort will also receive the right to use the Infineon Raceway name and logo for promotional purposes.
Thunder Valley Casino Resort was opened by the United Auburn Indian Community in June 2003. The newly remodeled and expanded entertainment, dining and hotel resort is Northern California’s first casino offering all the elements of real Las Vegas-style gaming: service, cuisine and entertainment in an outstanding facility.
The Thunder Valley Casino Resort 200 marks the fifth race of the year for the NASCAR Pro Series West. It is one of just three races to be paired with a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event during the 2010 race season.

The hotel has an expansive pool that includes private cabanas and Coconut, a poolside bar. The Spa at Thunder Valley will feature a wide variety of treatments including the exclusive 24-carat gold leaf facial. The expansion will be completed in July 2010.
