The Generation Essentials Group To Buy Upper View Regalia Hotel In Malaysia For HK$300 Mln

(RTTNews) - Monday, The Generation Essentials Group, a subsidiary of AMTD Digital Inc. (HKD) entered into a sale and purchase agreement to buy an 80 percent stake in the Upper View Regalia Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for HK$300 million, equivalent to approximately $38.6 million.

The acquisition of Upper View Regalia Hotel is expected to further strengthen The Generation Essentials Group's global hospitality offerings, expanding the company's global footprint with premium properties.

In the pre-market hours, AMTD is trading at $1.08, down 4.85 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
