Synovus Financial Q3 Results Top Estimates - Quick Facts

(SNV), a provider of commercial and retail banking, investment, and mortgage services, reported Tuesday that its third-quarter net income available to common shareholders was $178.48 million or $1.21 per share, higher than $83.28 million or $0.56 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $1.20 per share, compared to $0.89 per share in the prior-year quarter.
