SunEdison Shareholders Vote To Increase Number Of Authorized Shares

(RTTNews) - SunEdison, Inc. (SUNE) said Friday that, at its May 29 Annual Meeting, its shareholders voted to approve an amendment to the company's Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation to increase the number of the company's authorized shares of common stock issuable from 300 million to 700 million.

The increase in authorized shares of common stock will allow the company to satisfy issuances under future equity-based awards as well as issuances required upon conversion of the company's 2.00% Convertible Senior Notes Due 2018 and the company's 2.75% Convertible Senior Notes Due 2021.
