Sterling Bancorp Announces 18% Increase In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Sterling Bancorp (STL) reported a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $37.79 million, or $0.29 per share. This was higher than $32.04 million, or $0.25 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 10.1% to $122.37 million. This was up from $111.14 million last year.
