Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc Earnings Climb 3% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc (HOT) revealed a profit for its second quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $121 million, or $0.71 per share. This was up from $117 million, or $0.69 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.8% to $1.25 billion. This was up from $1.24 billion last year.
