Starwood Hotels & Resorts Extends IT Outsourcing Contract With Accenture

(RTTNews) - Technology outsourcing and consultancy company Accenture plc. (ACN) announced it has extended its agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (HOT) to provide a range of information technology (IT) outsourcing services.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Accenture will continue to provide services across the application, infrastructure, and security domains.

The services support the deeper operational efficiency and agility for the hotel group's global operating model. Accenture will deliver the services from Starwood's locations and Accenture's Global Delivery Network.

The original agreement began in 2009 and is now extended for an additional five years, building on the successful business relationship and delivery of application and infrastructure services.
