Sprint Wants To Cut Your Phone Bill In Half
(RTTNews) - In an attempt to lure customers, Sprint Corp. (S), the third largest U.S. wireless carrier, Wednesday announced that customers who switch from Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile will only have to pay half the price of their existing plans.
The 50 percent off pricing remains valid until January 8, 2018 for customers who switch carriers between November 20, 2015 and January 7, 2016. Sprint will also pay switching fees up to $650.
To reward its own customers, Sprint is offering a free tablet with one year free service with a two-year contract.
"We've made tremendous strides with our network because we know consumers want wireless service that provides consistent speed and reliability," said Marcelo Claure, Sprint CEO.
Customers have 28 days to experience Sprint service. If they are not satisfied, customers can return their device with no restocking fee.
With the new offer, a family paying $100 for 15GB at AT&T can get the same amount of data for $50 if they switch, Sprint said. T-Mobile offers 10GB for $80 per month, but if they switch to Sprint they can get unlimited talk and text with the same amount of data for $40 per month.
