SPI Solar Appoints Charlotte Xi President, Global COO

(RTTNews) - SPI Solar (SOPW.OB) announced the appointment of Charlotte Xi as president and global chief operating officer or COO, in addition to her current role as interim chief financial officer.

Following her decision to step in quickly as interim chief financial officer, the company said its board has now finalized the scope of Xi's executive responsibilities. During this transition, the company is in the process of conducting a search for a new chief financial officer.

Commenting on Xi, the company said she is also a member of SPI's board of directors, is an experienced finance and operations executive, who most recently served as senior vice president of global operations for Canadian Solar, Inc.
