Sonic Corp Profit Climbs 9% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Sonic Corp (SONC) announced earnings for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $21.08 million, or $0.43 per share. This was higher than $19.33 million, or $0.36 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.42 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.3% to $165.24 million. This was up from $164.75 million last year.
