SolarCity Turns To Profit In Q4 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - SolarCity Corp. (SCTY) Tuesday said fourth-quarter net income attributable to stockholders of $26.7 million or $0.28 per share, compared to net loss of $8.0 million or $1.30 per share in the same period last year.

Non-GAAP net loss for the latest fourth quarter was $39.8 million or $0.46 per share. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.55 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues totaled $47.30 million, up from $23.76 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $45.27 million.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company has forecast adjusted loss ranging between $0.70 and $0.80 per share. Analysts currently expect first quarter loss of $0.50 per share.
