Skechers Results Top Estimate - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Footwear company Skechers USA Inc. (SKX) Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $51 million or $1.00 per share compared with $26.8 million or $0.53 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $674.3 million compared with $515.8 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.93 per share on revenues of $626.6 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead, the company said, "Though the fourth quarter is historically our smallest sales quarter for our international division, we remain comfortable with the analysts' current consensus for both revenue and earnings. Given the strength of our backlogs for the first quarter of 2015, we anticipate top-line growth to be 15 to 20 percent."
