Sigma Designs Q4 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Sigma Designs, Inc. (SIGM) reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $3.6 million or $0.10 per share, compared to net income of $1.3 million or $0.04 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $1.5 million or $0.04 per share, compared to an adjusted net loss of $4.5 million or $0.13 per share in the prior year quarter.

Net revenue for the fourth quarter rose 42% to $54.8 million from $38.5 million in the same quarter last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report breakeven per share on revenue of $53.16 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
