ServiceAlley Launches New Blog for Homeowners

WASHINGTON, Sept. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ServiceAlley today announced the unveiling of its new blog which readers can find at http://www.servicealley.com/blog/. The ServiceAlley blog features a combination of do-it-yourself (DIY) projects, general home-maintenance advice from ServiceAlley providers, crafty design projects, and a running account of firsthand experiences from the company's new in-house blogger and first-time homeowner, Austin Duck.

"For years, our huge community of homeowners has helped us identify the best local providers. We think this is a great addition to the site - to offer some of our expert advice and maybe even provide a little laughter along the way," says Danny Beck, Chief Marketing and Operations Officer for ServiceAlley.

The launch of the ServiceAlley blog comes six weeks after the launch of the real-time provider availability feature Available Now!, and the introduction of the company's new website and brand identity.

ServiceAlley currently operates in the Washington, D.C., Raleigh, N.C. and Chicago, Ill. metro areas and has plans to roll out nationwide. Available Now! is powered by nowNnear (nownnear.me). For more information, visit www.servicealley.com.
