Semtech Lifts Q4 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Semtech Corp. (SMTC) announced it now expects fourth quarter GAAP earnings to be in the range of breakeven to $0.08 per share, Non-GAAP earnings in the range of $0.18 per share to $0.24 per share and net revenue to be in the range of $120.0 million to $130.0 million.

The Company's previous guidance issued on November 18, 2013 was for GAAP earnings to be in the range of $0.09 per share to $0.18 per share, Non-GAAP earnings in the range of $0.29 per share to $0.37 per share and net revenue to be in the range of $132.0 million to $144.0 million.

Analysts now expect earnings of $0.34 per share on revenues of $138.71 million for the fourth quarter.

The reasons cited for the shortfall are ongoing delays in carrier capex spending and a 6-month push-out in the ramp of a new consumer mobile platform.
