Selectica Names Patrick Stakenas Chief Strategy Officer

(RTTNews) - Selectica, Inc. (SLTC), a provider of software that streamlines contract processes and accelerates sales cycles, said Patrick Stakenas would join the company's executive team as Chief Strategy Officer, effective immediately.

Stakenas was most recently at Gartner where he authored key industry research, including the Magic Quadrants for Sales Performance Management and Sales Force Automation. His research and publications helped enterprises and software vendors shape and model their go-to-market approaches and future technology offerings.

Prior to his time at Gartner, Stakenas was the founder of ForceLogix Technologies Inc.which was acquired by Callidus Software, (CALD) in 2010. Before ForceLogix, Stakenas was a senior executive at CCC Information Services and worked in senior leadership roles at OpenText and FileNet.
