ScanSource Inc. Q2 Earnings Retreat 19%

(RTTNews) - ScanSource Inc. (SCSC) released a profit for second quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings dropped to $19.1 million, or $0.75 per share. This was lower than $23.7 million, or $0.88 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 8.9% to $904.8 million. This was down from $993.5 million last year.
