Sanmina Results Top Estimate, Outlook Strong; Stock Up 14%

(RTTNews) - Sanmina Corp (SANM), a provider of electronic manufacturing services, Monday reported third-quarter net earnings of $132.5 million or $1.52 per share compared with $38.8 million or $0.44 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.61 per share compared with $0.46 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $1.69 billion compared with $1.51 billion in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.54 per share on revenues of $1.63 billion for the quarter.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company expects earnings of $0.55 to $0.60 per share on revenues of $1.65 billion to $1.70 billion. Analysts expect earnings of $0.49 per share on revenues of $1.58 billion.
