Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 Coming November 14

(RTTNews) - Samsung's Galaxy Note Edge, with its curved screen, is due in U.S. stores beginning November 14. The device features a 5.6 inch display that spills over onto its edge. The right edge of the screen functions as an info ticker even while the main screen plays video or web surfs.

According to CNet, the stylus sporting phablet is an "outstanding" product:

"The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will thrill anyone who loves a fast phone with a large screen, but it's best for compulsive scribblers willing to pay a lot for its winning stylus."

The Verge notes that the curved screen is something of a gimmick: "Samsung hasn't proven the curved-screen concept to be anything close to essential yet. But if we're ever going to get to a future beyond near-identical flat slabs of glass, we'll need products like the Note Edge along the way."

At T-Mobile customers can pick up the Note Edge $0 down and $36.25 per month for 24 months on the carrier's payment plan. On AT&T it retails for $399 with a new two-year contract.
