Salem Communications Names Frank Wright President & COO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Salem Communications Corp. (SALM), an U.S. radio broadcaster, Internet content provider, magazine and book publisher targeting audiences interested in Christian and conservative opinion content, announced a strategic addition to the company's senior executive team. Frank Wright would be joining Salem as its President and Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2014. He would be reporting directly to Salem's Chief Executive, Edward Atsinger.

Wright has served as the President and Chief Executive of the National Religious Broadcasters, a position he held for the past 11 years. Prior to joining the NRB in 2003, he worked as the Executive Director of the Center for Christian Statesmanship based on Capitol Hill for 7 years.
