RhythmOne Confirms Buyout Talks With YuMe

(RTTNews) - Responding to recent press speculation, RhythmOne plc (RTHM.L)confirmed that it is in discussions regarding the potential acquisition of YuMe Inc. (YUME). Given the nature of the discussions, there can be no certainty that any transaction will proceed.

Separately, YuMe confirmed that it is in discussions regarding a potential transaction with RhythmOne. As previously announced, YuMe has been engaged in a strategic process in which YuMe continues to consider several value enhancing initiatives, including remaining as a stand-alone company. Given the nature of the discussions with RhythmOne, there can be no certainty that any transaction will proceed.

YuMe noted that it will provide an update to the process when and if it determines further disclosures are appropriate.
