Report: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 India Launch October 7

(RTTNews) - South Korean tech giant Samsung had pushed back the launch date of its flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 7 in India due to the faulty battery fiasco. Now reports suggests that the company will begin sales of Galaxy Note7 on October 7, the same day the new iPhone 7 is expected to launch in the country.

Samsung had received a lot of flak after the Galaxy Note 7 was recalled due to a battery issue that caused several phones all over the world to explode. Samsung had announced a recall and replacement program in its launch markets and also stopped sales of new units as well.

Samsung was planning to start sales of Note7 in South Korea again from September 28; however, it seems that the company has pushed back the date to October 1.
