Regado Biosciences Prices Public Offering Of 10 Mln Shares At $6/shr

(RTTNews) - Regado Biosciences Inc. (RGDO) announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 10 million shares of its common stock, offered at a price of $6.00 per share to the public.

The gross proceeds to Regado from this offering are expected to be approximately $60.0 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions, and other estimated offering expenses payable by Regado.

The offering is expected to close on or about April 16, 2014, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The company said it has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an aggregate of 1.50 million additional shares of common stock.

The firm expects to use the net proceeds of this offering to fund further clinical development of its lead product candidate, REG1, and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
