Rain Retail Point of Sale System Announces Private Lessons Integration with My Music Staff
SPRINGVILLE, Utah, Jan. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rain Retail Software, a cloud-based omnichannel point of sale provider for music and specialty retailers, announces two highly requested new features during Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. The new features include an integration by My Music Staff with the Rain Retail system for private lessons. Second, product data for over 200 top music industry vendors to streamline adding products to retailers point of sale system.
My Music Staff is a SaaS tool designed for setting up, scheduling, and managing private lessons, and is used by music teachers, studios, and music retailers that offer private lessons. "One of the top feature requests from music retailers has been Private Lessons management," stated Sean Roylance, Rain Retail Founder and CEO. "We are super excited to announce the My Music Staff integration with the Rain Retail System which now makes it possible for our customers to offer private lessons through the Rain point of sale."
Additionally, Rain now offers product data for over 200 of the top MI vendors. Retailers can now add new products for over 500,000 products to their point of sale and website by scanning a barcode to auto-populate product details such as titles, descriptions, images, manufacturer, UPC, and vendor number to their POS. "It's hard for small retailers to compete with national retailers and Amazon when their time is consumed by busy work, like adding new product details to their point of sale and website," states Roylance. "By adding product data from hundreds of vendors to our system catalog we are helping retailers get a chunk of their time back to focus on other areas of growing their business."
Retailers are also able to offer the same products online with the click of a mouse, making their inventory available to consumers who like to "pre-shop". In the "United States Ecommerce Country Report", released by the eCommerce Foundation in Dec, 2017, the report states that as much as eighty-eight percent of consumers pre-shop online prior to making a purchase in-store or online.
Because Rain Retail is an omnichannel point of sale system, consumers who pre-shop can see what retailers have in stock before coming into the store. Additionally, music retailers are able to offer the option to buy online and pick up in store, (BOPIS). According to a report released by Signifyd, BOPIS purchase account for as much as 28.4% of surveyed retailer's E-Commerce sales.
