Questar Corp. Q2 Income Declines 13%

(RTTNews) - Questar Corp. (STR) released earnings for second quarter that decreased from last year.

The company said its earnings dropped to $35.4 million, or $0.20 per share. This was lower than $40.6 million, or $0.23 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.22 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 12.6% to $174.1 million. This was down from $199.3 million last year.
