Publix at Moores Mill to Celebrate Grand Opening

ATLANTA, May 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- EDENS, one of the nation's leading retail real estate owners and developers, is excited to announce the grand opening for the Publix at Moores Mill, Wednesday, May 31 at 6:45 a.m.

"Today marks a great day for Atlanta's Upper West Side, and we're proud to partner with Publix on this development effort," says Herbert Ames, Vice President – Southeast for EDENS. "Publix and Moores Mill have already proven to be a community catalyst for this corridor, sparking significant interest and investment throughout the neighborhood."

The long-awaited shopping center will provide a grocery store in an area of Atlanta that has lacked this resource for years. In addition to the retail, the investment made in nearby Sara Gonzalez Park is a large part of the project, and EDENS is collaborating with the neighborhood on the improvements there. Phase II of the center will begin this summer, with up to 345 residential units planned, as well as an additional 15,000 square feet of retail.

In addition to Publix, Carriage Cleaners, SunTrust Bank and Lush Nail Bar will open later this summer.
