DENVER, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ProLogis , a leading global provider of distribution facilities and services, announced today that it has leased 145,000 square feet of industrial and office space in Portland, Oregon, to LaCrosse Footwear, Inc. The new facility will be built at SouthShore Corporate Park, a 230-acre industrial park operated by ProLogis in eastern Portland. LaCrosse currently occupies a 55,000-square-foot building in the park and will transition to the new facility once it is completed, expected to occur in June 2006.

"We believe this facility will deliver substantial benefits to LaCrosse as they continue to increase the efficiency of their business and logistics operations."
ProLogis acquired SouthShore Corporate Park through its recently completed merger with Catellus Development Corporation. The park is located on Interstate 84 approximately five miles from Portland International Airport. In addition to LaCrosse Footwear, existing ProLogis customers in the park include Fujicolor Processing, Kinco International, Innovian, Spicers Paper and Synetics Solutions.
