Probi extends the collaboration with Health World Australia by the launch of Probi Defendum®

Probi has signed an extension to the long term distribution agreement with Health World Limited, Australia and New Zealand´s market leading probiotic provider. Health World, being Probi´s first partner in the Consumer Healthcare business has successfully been selling Probi Digestis®for 8 years and Health World will now extend their product offering by adding Probi´s immune product Probi Defendum® to their range.The launch is scheduled for Q1 2014.

Probi Defendum® is based on the combination of two probiotic strains, Lactobacillus plantarum HEAL9 and Lactobacillus paracasei 8700:2. It has been proven in large clinical studies to prevent common colds, significantly reduce cold symptoms and shorten cold periods.
