Pre-market Movers For June 1 (ALTR, INTC, OMG, ONTY, VBLT, FGP)

(RTTNews) - Altera Corp. (ALTR) is gaining 6 percent to $51.86 based on the news that Intel Corp. (INTC) has agreed to buy the company for $54 per share in cash, valuing the company at about $16.7 billion. INTC is down four tenths of a percent to $34.32.

OM Group Inc. (OMG) is surging 27 percent to $33.90 as it agreed to be acquired by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, LLC (APO) for $34 per share in cash.

Oncothyreon Inc (ONTY) is up 27 percent to $4.35 based on its announcement about the presentation of positive data from ongoing trials of ONT-380, an orally active, reversible and selective small-molecule HER2 inhibitor for the treatment of breast cancer, at the ASCO 2015 Annual Meeting.

Vascular Biogenics Ltd. (VBLT) is rising 11 percent to $8.95. The company announced updated interim results from its ongoing Phase 2 study of VB-111 in patients with recurrent glioblastoma, which showed a statistically significant overall survival benefit.

Ferrellgas Partners LP (FGP) is up 1 percent to $25.05 as it agreed to acquire Dallas-based Bridger Logistics, LLC, a provider of integrated crude oil midstream services, for a purchase price of approximately $837.5 million. Ferrellgas also announced a $0.0125 increase in its quarterly distribution rate.
