Pre-market Movers For July 8 (DELL, PCLN, BABY, CKSW, CYTK)

(RTTNews) - Gainers:

Dell Inc. (DELL) is rising over 2 percent to $13.37 based on the news that the ISS proxy voting and corporate governance advisory firm has recommended shareholders to vote for the proposed cash sale transaction at $13.65 per share.

priceline.com Inc. (PCLN) is gaining 2 percent to $871.50.

Decliners:

Natus Medical Inc. (BABY) is falling 8 percent to $13.09. The company lowered its second quarter revenue guidance citing Weakness in its International markets, particularly Europe, led to an unexpected decline in revenue late in the quarter.

Trading halt:

Trading in shares of ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd. (CKSW) was halted. The company anticipates lower than expected revenue growth due to a faster than expected shift in its revenues to cloud-based software-as-a-service sales. The company further anticipates a loss for its second quarter both on a GAAP basis and non-GAAP basis. The company also reduced its previously provided full year 2013 guidance due to a faster than anticipated transition into Cloud SaaS-based revenues and slow ramp-up of revenues from new territories.

Trading in shares of Cytokinetics, Inc. (CYTK) was halted. The company announced an update on the conduct of Blinded Evaluation of Neuromuscular Effects and Functional Improvement with Tirasemtiv in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The company said it was recently informed by its data management vendor that a programming error in the electronic data capture system controlling study drug assignment caused 58 patients initially randomized to and treated with tirasemtiv to receive placebo instead at a certain study visit and for the remainder of the study.
