Polypore International Q3 Profit Rises
(RTTNews) - Polypore International, Inc. (PPO) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $12.7 million or $0.28 per share, up from $7.0 million or $0.16 per share last year.
Adjusted earnings from continuing operations rose to $0.33 per share from $0.18 per share last year.
Sales for the quarter rose 9 percent to $165.5 million from $152.0 million last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.31 per share on revenues of $165.75 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
