PolyOne Q4 Profit Surges - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PolyOne Corp. (POLY) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $24.6 million or $0.26 per share, up from $3.1 million or $0.03 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $25.6 million or $0.26 per share. On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.25 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 42 percent to $924 million from $651 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $897.60 million.

Looking ahead, the company expects strong double-digit adjusted earnings growth for the fiscal 2014, and has also reaffirmed its full-year 2015 adjusted earnings guidance of $2.50 per share.
