PolyOne Names Robert Patterson CEO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PolyOne Corp. (POL) said it has named Robert Patterson as president and chief executive officer or CEO.

The company said as part of a planned and previously announced succession, Patterson transitions to the role following the retirement of Stephen Newlin, who remains executive chairman of the PolyOne Board of Directors.

PolyOne stated that its Shareholders also approved, on an advisory basis, the vote on named executive officer compensation, and ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as PolyOne Corporation's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2014.
