Physicians Meet in Historic Charleston to Study Physician Burnout, Clinical Updates, and Diagnostic Strategies

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Southern Medical Association (SMA) will hold its Annual Scientific Assembly at the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, South Carolina, October 31-November 1, 2018. The goal of this year's Assembly is to provide evidence-based strategies, up-to-date information about updated clinical guidelines, and diagnostic strategies. Additionally, a large focus will address the well-being of clinicians and tools to assist with effective wellness interventions as a way of integrating a culture of wellness into a work unit.

The conference, chaired by Dr. Donald DiPette of Columbia, South Carolina, incorporates adult learning methods including didactic lecture presentation supported by practical cases.
