Since 1995, the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) has measured the performance of United States fourth- and eighth-grade students in mathematics and science compared to their peers internationally. TIMSS 2015, the sixth such assessment, provides 20 years of trends.
TIMSS Advanced is the only international assessment of twelfth-grade students enrolled in advanced mathematics and physics courses. TIMSS Advanced 2015 also provides 20-year comparisons for some of America's best math and science students.
