PCTEL Promotes John Schoen To CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - PCTEL, Inc.'s (PCTI) board has promoted John Schoen, PCTEL's current and long-time CFO, to Senior Vice President and CFO. Schoen has served as the company's CFO since November 2001 and has been part of the core executive team that navigated PCTEL's transition from an analog modem company to a diverse, wireless equipment and services operation.

"John joined the company less than a month after the Board asked me to build a new leadership team and to change the company's trajectory," said Marty Singer, PCTEL's Chairman and CEO.

Schoen began his career in public accounting at Ernst and Young before spending nearly 20 years at Motorola, where he held both financial and operational positions. He served as Safco Technology's CFO and maintained those responsibilities after Agilent's acquisition of Safco. John has been involved in 16 M&A transactions while serving as PCTEL's CFO.
