Papa John's Q3 Profit Tops Estimate; Boosts FY14 Outlook

(RTTNews) - Papa John's International, Inc. (PZZA) reported net income for the third quarter of $16.1 million or $0.39 per share, compared to $14.3 million $0.32 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Third quarter revenues rose 12.7% to $390.4 million from $346.3 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.37 per share on revenue of $378.46 million for the third quarter.

The company raised its full year 2014 earnings per share guidance to a range of $1.68 to $1.74 from its prior guidance of $1.64 to $1.72. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $1.72 per share for the full year 2014.
