Papa John's Lowers 2018 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Papa John's International, Inc. (PZZA) announced, for 2018, the company now expects adjusted EPS to be in the range of $1.30 - $1.80, updated from previous guidance range of $2.40 - $2.60. North America comparable sales are now projected to decline in the range of 7.0% to 10.0%, revised from prior outlook range of a decline of 3% to flat.

Adjusted earnings per diluted share was $0.49 in the second quarter of 2018, excluding the impact of China refranchising; down 24.6% from the second quarter 2017. System-wide North America comparable sales declined 6.1%, for the quarter. Consolidated revenues decreased 6.2%, for the quarter.
