Olive Garden Never Ending Pasta Pass Is Back With $200 Trip To Italy
(RTTNews) - Olive Garden, the Italian restaurant chain of Darden Restaurants Inc., said Tuesday that it is launching an offer of $200 'Pasta Passport To Italy' as part of its annual sale of the Never Ending Pasta Pass. The company will offer 50 diners the chance to buy an all-inclusive week-long trip to Italy for themselves and a friend for $200.
These 50 "Pasta Passports" will be available along with 22,000 Pasta Passes for 30 minutes beginning September 14 starting at 2p.m. ET.
Olive Garden's the Never Ending Pasta Pass offers eight weeks of unlimited access to pasta, soup or salad, and breadsticks between September 25 and November 19 for $100 each.
The Pasta Passport offers the same deal with the addition of the eight-day, seven-night Italy getaway, which includes visits to the Coliseum in Rome, the Sistine Chapel, and more. The $200 cost will include airfare, ground transportation, hotels, meals, and excursions.
The company noted that last year's all 21,000 Never Ending Pasta Pass for seven weeks were sold out in a second.
Jennifer Arguello, executive vice president of marketing for Olive Garden, said, "Every year, through our Pasta Pass sale, we get to connect with and delight thousands of our most passionate Olive Garden fans. We couldn't think of a better way to create even more memories and a deeper connection to our brand than through a special edition Pasta Pass that includes an all-inclusive trip for two to the country that inspires us."
