Nissan Americas Expects To Report Record August Sales - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Nissan Americas (NSANY.PK) said the company is on pace for a record August. The company will increase share of the growing market through 2013 and beyond. Nissan said it is currently in the process of introducing all-new versions of its five top-selling models in 15 months.

Nissan Americas also announced that the production of the Nissan NV200 Taxi - New York's "Taxi of Tomorrow" - is now underway at the company's assembly plant in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Nissan developed the new taxi to suit the specific demands of the more than 600,000 people who ride in New York City taxicabs every day.
