New Leadership Team In Grey Latam And Grey Mexico

MEXICO CITY, Feb. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Grey announced the promotion of Marco Milesi, currently President of Grey Mexico, to the position of President and CEO of Grey Latam. In addition, he will maintain the responsibility as CEO of Mexico.

To give continuity to the leadership in Mexico, Milesi appointed Humberto Polar as President of the local branch, a position that adds to his responsibilities as Chief Creative Officer in Mexico. "The appointment of Humberto reflects a culture already present in other offices of the network, where creative leaders also assume a business management position, which today is a differential of Grey," Milesi said.

As a result of his successful management as President of Circus Grey Peru, where he quadrupled turnover and made it the largest network agency in Latin America, Marco Milesi assumed the leadership of Grey Mexico in 2017. Just one year after his arrival, he achieved a growth of 43%, making it the second fastest growing Grey agency in the world.

"Creativity is the heart of Grey, it is the growth engine of the agency and the great added value to solve the communication challenges of our clients. With this in mind, we reinvented the agency and today we are digital at the core, 80% of our revenue comes from digital projects," said Milesi.

"Today we can do any kind of work, such as the P&G Innovation Center, branding, shopper marketing, as well as digital and traditional campaigns. By having integrated teams with all these disciplines, we have become particularly effective. We have participated in about 50 pitches during 2018 and have won half," added Polar.

In addition, two other important changes in the management of the agency were announced: Ericka Sigüenza joins in the role of Head of Business Development for Latam. She joins the regional team where Diego Medvedocky already serves as CCO Latam and Jose Garcia Gonzalez as regional head of Townhouse (Grey's production unit).

The other appointment was Coral Arnedo as General Business Director and, together with Alma Jordan, Head of Strategy, she will handle the operation of Grey Mexico along with Humberto Polar.

About the new members of the regional team:

Milesi has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Marco started his career in 1990 at P&G Italia. In 1993 he joined Leo Burnett where he worked for 13 years and developed a career that took him to SVP, Business & Operations Development for Latin America. In 1998 he founded Leo Burnett Peru and became its CEO. After leaving Leo Burnett, he joined Lowe Worldwide as Global Business Director for Unilever.
