NCI Building Systems Reports Rise In Q1 Profit

(RTTNews) - NCI Building Systems (NCS) reported earnings for its first quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $9.53 million, or $0.14 per share. This was higher than $3.63 million, or $0.05 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.10 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.6% to $421.35 million. This was up from $391.70 million last year.
