NCI Building Systems Q4 Profit Tops Estimate; Revenue Falls Short

(RTTNews) - NCI Building Systems, Inc. (NCS) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $14.3 million or $0.19 per share, compared to $8.3 million or $0.11 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the latest quarter was $13.9 million or $0.19 per share.

Fourth quarter sales decreased 1.9% to $392.45 million from $400.21 million in last year's fourth quarter, due to slightly lower volumes in the company's Components and Buildings segments.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.17 per share on revenue of $422.29 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
